My name is José María Martínez. I’m 47 years old. Many people only know me because I’m the teacher convicted in the “Gaztelueta case.” A few months ago, I discovered that the Church had opened a new canonical process against me. In the past few weeks, some media have said that I’ll be sentenced soon. It seems unbelievable to me because I know almost nothing about the strangest process that I’ve ever heard of. Since 2008, I’ve repeatedly said that I’m innocent, but now I’m going to tell the story of what I’ve been living through since then. It’s my way of defending myself. Perhaps this text may be a bit long, but I don’t want to omit any relevant aspect.
